SOLD OUT!

As we launch our new Songs In The Cellar series, join us for a special ONE WEEKEND ONLY engagement as the Cellar transforms into an uptown cabaret club. In a musical revue toasting some of Broadway's most memorable melodies, some of the area's favorite performers tackle songs written for the opposite sex. This hilarious and heartwarming trip through musical theater gives performers the chance to sing the songs they know by heart, but that were written for the opposite part ... reminding us that music is universal.

Denise Stewart's renowned one-woman show has been seen everywhere from Charlottesville to New York to Scotland, and now it's coming to Barboursville for ONE WEEKEND ONLY! Crafted from Stewart's stories about her childhood, Dirty Barbie is a whirlwind ride through small-town North Carolina in the 70s, 80s and 90s. With sleepover candor and a vintage soundtrack, Stewart tells tales of scarlet fever, scotch over ice, and girls gone wild.

The Cellar

Step Inside the Box... the BLACK BOX

The Cellar is one more venue that underscores Four County's commitment to bringing great theater to our community.

Located in the lower level of the theater with an eclectic mix of seating and tables, the "Cellar" performance space is flexible and intimate. This 50-seat venue lends itself to many types of productions. It has a boutique ambiance that matches some of the lesser-known but amazing works we produce featuring local playwrights, bands and more. The Cellar Bistro will see to your every snack and beverage need during the performance.

The Cellar is also home to the Four County Kids program throughout the year, and will be host to many upcoming educational workshops for kids and adults.
